How does at-home testing work?
Order a kit and it ships to your door. Collect a few drops of blood with the included finger-prick lancet, most people finish in under ten minutes, and mail the sample back in the prepaid envelope. A CLIA/CAP-accredited laboratory analyzes it, a licensed clinician reviews the results, and they appear on your BetterBuyRx dashboard.
Is a finger-prick sample as accurate as a blood draw?
For the markers we offer, validated capillary (finger-prick) collection is analyzed by the same accredited laboratories that process venous samples. Every result is reviewed and approved by a licensed clinician before you see it.
Who sees my results?

Do I need a doctor's order?
No. A physician network authorizes testing where required, and a licensed clinician reviews every result. Your results page is designed to be shared with your own doctor, there's a print-ready report built in.
What if a result is abnormal?
Your dashboard flags anything outside range in plain English, with education about what the marker means. Abnormal results are a prompt to talk to your clinician, not a diagnosis, and critical values are flagged for follow-up.
