Do Not Sell or Share My Data

Last updated: July 5, 2026

Our default: we don't sell data

BetterBuyRx does not sell your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, pharmaceutical companies, or any third party. We also do not "share" your data for cross-context behavioral advertising as CPRA defines that term. This applies to every visitor, whether or not you make the request below.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a binding opt-out request under CPRA §1798.135(b)(1). You do not need to fill out anything below — we suppress the consent banner and record your preference as essential-only automatically.

To turn GPC on: enable it in your browser settings (Firefox and Brave support it natively; DuckDuckGo and Privacy Badger add it as an extension).

Manual opt-out and data subject rights

You can also submit any of the following requests by emailing us:

  • Right to know — a copy of the personal information we hold about you (CCPA §1798.100, GDPR Art. 15).
  • Right to delete — permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (CCPA §1798.105, GDPR Art. 17). If you have an account you can also delete it yourself from your account settings.
  • Right to correct — fix inaccurate personal information (CPRA §1798.106, GDPR Art. 16).
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing — even though we don't sell or share, we honor the request formally on file (CPRA §1798.120).
  • Right to limit use of sensitive PI — restrict how we use sensitive personal information (CPRA §1798.121). Note we don't collect any category of sensitive PI that would trigger this in the first place.
  • Right to portability — receive a machine-readable copy (GDPR Art. 20).

Email privacy@betterbuyrx.com with the subject line "Data Rights Request." Include the email address on your account (so we can verify) and the specific right you're exercising. We respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA), whichever your jurisdiction requires.

Authorized agents

You can designate an authorized agent under CCPA §1798.135(c) to submit requests on your behalf. Include a signed permission from you along with the request; we will verify your identity directly before acting.

Non-discrimination

Exercising these rights will never result in denied service, lower quality, or different pricing on BetterBuyRx (CCPA §1798.125).

Appeals

If we deny a request, our email response will explain why and how to appeal. For California residents, unresolved complaints can be filed with the California Privacy Protection Agency. For EU/UK residents, contact your national data protection authority.
